Breaking the Power of Delay

Kynan Bridges says breakthrough is when God’s power, purpose and Presence move against delay!

Kynan Bridges says breakthrough is when God’s power, purpose and Presence meet discouragement and delay. Angels of breakthrough are waiting to make it happen!

Hello. Sid Roth here. Welcome to my world where it’s naturally supernatural. My guest says expect unusual miracles beginning this year. Like a raven with money in its mouth, dropping this money into your hands, this actually happened to a woman and she was continually struggling with finances and the supernatural raven money gift which was verified by her friends that were present, from that moment on she has never struggled financially. Are you ready for your unusual miracles? Next on It’s Supernatural!

Is there a supernatural dimension? A world beyond the one we know? Can we tap into ancient secrets of the supernatural? Can our dreams contain messages from heaven? Is God ready to bring a tsunami wave of healing on to planet earth today? Sid Roth has spent over 40 years researching the strange world of the supernatural. Join Sid for this edition of It’s Supernatural!

SID: You know, there’s a popular word and it’s almost … it kind of bounces off of you but it’s an important word. It’s called breakthrough. Tell me what breakthrough means based on the Bible, based on what God has shown you.

KYNAN: You know, breakthrough is a very powerful concept in the Bible. I believe that a breakthrough is when the power, purpose and presence of God bursts forth in someone’s life and transforms their lives forever.

SID: Well, you not only teach from the word of God, but from hands on experience.

SID: You desperately needed a breakthrough when you were starting in ministry. How bad were things?

KYNAN: Very bad. I even questioned whether or not I was supposed to pastor. Because you know, sea bites sometimes. I had a lot of sea bites and I was wounded and hurt and a lot of times, ministers don’t … they’re not honest with themselves when they’re burnt out, but I was burnt out and I said, “God, I don’t even know what I’m supposed to be doing anymore.” I can remember coming home after a very tough time evangelizing and my wife and I were in the living room and she looks at me and I didn’t realize that she was as prophetic as she is, but she said, “What do you see?” I said, “I see you.”

SID: I would have done the same.

KYNAN: I mean, what do you mean what do I see? She said, “No Kynan. What do you see?” I said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I was discouraged, I was frustrated. She said, “What do you see?” I said, “I don’t know.” Then finally the light bulb came on. I began to prophesy. I said, “I see women and children getting saved. I see young people coming to the Lord. I see nations being discipled. I see crack addicts coming off the street.” What was happening in that moment is that God’s purpose was breaking through in my life. I was getting a revelation of what heaven intended for my life, which looked different from my situation.

KYNAN: As I began to prophesy, the atmosphere began to shift and all of a sudden, I tapped into that breaker anointing which I’ll talk about in a moment. That next Sunday, we had the largest service we had ever had in the history of our church because things shifted. A lot of people are waiting for as shift to happen in heaven, but heaven is already open. The earth needs to shift because when your mind shifts and you tap into what God has already promised you, then you enter into the place I call manifestation.

SID: Talking about breakthrough, tell me about a healing breakthrough with the person with cerebral palsy.

KYNAN: Yeah this is a very powerful testimony. I was in California doing a revival meeting. It was a lot of warfare leading up to that meeting and we were in the night meeting and a woman comes in with cerebral palsy of course from birth and she’s had her whole life, has not been able to function normally her whole life and they bring her into the sanctuary. Now one of the things I think is important Sid is that if we’re going to see the miraculous, we have to have an attitude of expectation. Because the attitude of expectancy is the atmosphere for miracles. So, what happens is that this woman comes in and she comes to the altar. Her son brings her and she said, “What do you want God to do for you?” She’s like, “I want God to heal me. I want him to touch me.” I could feel her faith.

KYNAN: I know what Jesus meant when he said he saw their faith. You can see people’s faith. As I was praying for the woman, all I did was this. I said, “You know what? You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.” I didn’t realize it then but I was activating the anointing that was already on the inside of her. See, Christ lives on the inside of us. See, when we want a breakthrough, when God can breakthrough in you, he can breakthrough for you. This is so important.

KYNAN: As I’m whispering this in her ear, I said, “You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.” Every time I said that she took a step. When I would say it again she would take another step and then another step and eventually she started running throughout the sanctuary and the faith of the people just exploded. Sid, the glory came into that building and that was the beginning of many miracles that night.

SID: You also talk about putting a demand on heaven.

SID: Explain that what that means to you.

KYNAN: You know, just like in economics there’s supply and demand. God has an economy. Heaven is a system, not just a place and when we look at the kingdom of God, that’s why the Bible says ask and you shall receive. In other words, when I ask, I’m placing a demand on heaven’s supply. I was praying one day and as I was praying I saw a vision. In this vision, there were two golden double doors and in the vision, I pressed through the double doors and as I pressed through the double doors, there was an endless storehouse. I mean there was gold, there were rubies, there were all kinds of precious metals. There were four angels guarding this storehouse.

KYNAN: As I came out of the vision, the Lord spoke to me. He said, “You just stepped into the treasury of heaven where there is unlimited supply. Heaven has no restrictions. Heaven has no limitations.”

SID: Boy there’s such a presence of God on the statement you just made.

KYNAN: Yes. Heaven has no limitations. The only thing that limits us is the demand that we place. I just feel this so strongly. I feel like there’s somebody watching right now you need to place a demand on heaven. Listen. You’re not waiting on God. He’s waiting on you. He has already made it available to you. That transformation, that miracle, that salvation, that healing, it’s yours. You need to go where the table is spread. The Bible says…..

SID: So, when someone, Kynan, says “I’m expecting. I’m waiting on you God. I’m waiting. I’m waiting,” there’s a more aggressive stance than that passive stance of waiting on God.

KYNAN: Yes. : Go ahead.

KYNAN: Okay Matthew 11:12 says that the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force. Christianity is not a spectator sport. You can’t see the kingdom manifested from the bleachers. You have to engage heaven. You have to engage the realm of the spirit. Let me give you an example. Imagine if you found out that there was $5 billion behind the door in your back room that you never go in to. Would you stand at the door and say, “Lord, open this door if it be your holy will.”

SID: No, I’d knock it over.

KYNAN: You would knock it down because why? What’s behind the door is more valuable than the door itself. What God has on the other side of your hindrance, on the other side of your wall is greater than the limitation and it’s time for the church to burst through and see the manifestation of what God has planned. Yeah.

SID: I tell you what. I’ve been a believer a long time and what you’re saying with the presence of God on it, I’m ready to knock that door down. Now, we read about unusual miracles in the Bible like God sending a fish with money in its mouth but these unusual miracles are once again erupting. I want to learn about the raven giving money to a woman and supernaturally she never struggled with finances again.

We’ll be right back. We’ll be right back to It’s Supernatural. [music] [commercial] [music] We now return to It’s Supernatural.

SID: I don’t know about you, but my expectancy is up. I’m expecting unusual miracles, but this takes the cake. Tell me about the supernatural raven.

KYNAN: You know, you can’t make this stuff up. One of the precious sisters in our ministry, she was going through kind of a challenge at the time and she went to the store and a supermarket and spent pretty most of what she had buying some things, but there was a few things she needed to get at another store so she left that store and went to another one. As she’s pulling up in the parking space, a raven comes down in the parking space. When the raven comes down in the parking space, they notice that he has something in his mouth. As they get out of the car, they go toward the raven, he doesn’t fly away. This a bold raven, Sid.

SID: This is.

KYNAN: He starts walking toward them. As they get closer, he gets closer. They get closer, he gets closer. They reach down and they realize that he has money in his mouth and he just stands there. When they get closer, he drops the money and he flies away. It was $50. The exact amount she had just spent at the store before. Now here’s the part that’s so interesting. These were fresh crisp bank notes like they had just come from the bank.

SID: Brand new printed.

KYNAN: Brand new crisp bills in the raven’s mouth. This miracle changed her life. You see, it only takes a moment to change your world. It only takes a moment to manifest a miracle, but we have to learn how to maximize our moments.

SID: Tell me about the breaker anointing.

KYNAN: In Micah two, it talks about the breaker anointing. That word breaker actually comes from the Hebrew word (Hebrew) and it means to break through. It’s the same in Genesis 38 when the baby broke out. It’s the same word. That breaker anointing is being released in the earth to break off limitations of all kinds. To break off financial limitations. To break off family limitations. To break the brick walls that people have. The people that are saying, “You know what? Why haven’t I gotten my miracle?” Because there’s a spirit of prevention arresting the manifestation of what they’ve asked for. But the good news is that this anointing that has been released not only in the believer, before the believer is stronger than the limitation on the believer. I believe that this is a season where we’re going to see mass breakthroughs in the body of Christ.

SID: Give me a hands-on example in your own life.

KYNAN: Yeah.

SID: With the breaker anointing.

KYNAN: I’ve seen it so many times. I went through some of the most difficult seasons I’ve ever been in ministry. I remember being in this place where this darkness was in my life and I just wasn’t really feeling God, hearing God. I just wanted to just stay inside all day. One day the Lord came into my room and he said this to me. He said, “How long are you going to tolerate this?” I said, “What do you mean?” He said, “I’ve given you the authority. I’ve given you the authority.” I said, “Lord, you know what? I want to change. I want something to happen in my life.” All of a sudden, Sid, I experienced supernatural breakthrough. Something lifted off of my life. Something was released off of my life and I’ve never been the same since that day. I’ve seen it so many times.

SID: When we return, I want Dr. Kynan to explain how to reverse the spirit of delay in your prayers, dreams and destiny and break this spirit once and for all of delay off of your life.

SID: Angels of breakthrough are here now.

SID: Example.

KYNAN: There are angels in the earth right now. In fact I go preach all the time and one of the angels that accompanies me is called Breakthrough. His assignment, the assignment of this angel is to arrest the spirit of delay in a believer’s life. I’ll give you an example. I was preaching in England and we had this activation where I said, “You know what? It’s time to receive. Receive.” Right? So I had everybody reach up prophetically and receive what the father had already supplied. When we did that, the atmosphere shifted. People started getting healed, but that wasn’t the kicker. The kicker was the person co-hosting the event with me, their daughter called them and around the same time, this person had lost a pair of earrings about a year earlier.

KYNAN: Couldn’t find them for a year or whatever it was and all of a sudden, during this same time, they’re walking up the steps and the earrings are perfectly set on each step. One two. Perfectly aligned with each other. I said to the host and she said to me, “Kynan, I believe that an angel delivered those earrings.”

SID: How could that be though? People have walked there for a year.

KYNAN: Because it’s angelic. It’s supernatural. It’s naturally supernatural, Sid. One of the things is that this is what the Lord told me. He said, “We have to partner with the angelic realm.” How do we do that? Psalm 103 says that the angels harken to the voice of God’s word. Which means they can not operate in their assignment until the word of God is spoken. So, one of the ways we partner is that we have to align our earthly conversation with the heavenly conversation concerning our lives and we have to speak. I’ve seen this so many times, Sid. I’ve seen people be healed. I’ve seen people be delivered as they begin to engage the atmospheres that they were in with the words that they were speaking.

KYNAN: We have to give a voice to God’s word. God’s word is written. It’s settled in the heavens, but when we speak it, that’s when heaven begins to invade the earth.

SID: Can you pray for those viewing right now and break the spirit of delay?

KYNAN: Yeah. You know you’re watching right now. You may be going through discouragement, delay. In fact, delay has a couple cousins that he always operates with. One is called distraction. The other one is distress and the other one is discouragement. Right now, by the power of the blood of Yeshua, we take authority over the spirit of prevention operating in your life. Just like it was with me when my wife and I prayed and we saw a net, a spider’s web with all of our blessings caught in it, we spoke to that web and we said, “Be broken in Yeshua’s name. I declare over your life right now by the power of the Holy Spirit that everything that’s held up, hindered, everything that is stagnant, everything that has been arrested by the enemy, that right now from this day forward, it must come back to you in Jesus name.

KYNAN: That you must receive the restoration of everything that the locusts have stolen, that the cake worms have eaten. This is your season of restoration and reconciliation. May the power of the blood of Jesus accelerate every promise in your life that Isiah 43:19 will be your portion, that behold he does a new thing and it shall spring forth. He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers shall spring up in your desert right now in Jesus name.

SID: Yeah. Kynan, you’re a prophet. You have seen things that are going to begin this year that are so wonderful. Tell me one or two.

KYNAN: One of the things that’s going to happen beginning this year is the increase of angelic activity. Another thing that’s going to happen this year is the increase of the prophetic anointing. Because it is prophetic declarations that release breakthrough. If you don’t believe me, ask Daniel who in Daniel 9 and 10 when he proclaimed over Israel angels were dispatched. We’re also going to see, Sid, the manifestation of unusual miracles and guess what? It’s not going to be from pastors. It’s not going to be from clergy. It’s going to be from ordinary people who have the audacious faith to believe that what God said is going to be reality in their lives and they’re going to walk in miracles, signs and wonders like we’ve never seen before.

KYNAN: The glory, the latter ring glory is hitting the earth so that the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former. Our churches are about to explode. You not going to have to beg folks to come to church. You’re going to have to push people away because the capacity is not big enough to contain them. I see churches leaving sanctuaries and going into soccer fields, to stadiums. To all kinds of open fields where we’re going to see creative miracles, instant miracles and ultimately mass salvations that will shift the culture around us.

SID: That’s what my next question was. How is this going to change society?

KYNAN: Because you see the Bible says this. The Bible says the children the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders. As we begin to walk in the power of the kingdom, Mark chapter 16 will become our reality. The Bible says they went about proclaiming the kingdom. The Lord working with them confirming his word with signs and wonders. I believe what happened in the book of Acts is going to happen in this generation. We’re going to see millions of people come to the Lord. We’re going to see people come out of addictions and bondages and immorality and come into the kingdom of God and know that Yeshua is the name above all names.

SID: You shared another word that God gave you. Now. Now! Now!

KYNAN: Amen.

SID: Next week on It’s Supernatural! Jennifer Eivaz: Hello. I’m Jennifer Eivaz. Join me on It’s Supernatural! with Sid Roth as I share how God wants to awaken your heart to experience his glory in every area of your life. [music]

Israeli Archaeologists Find Rare Mosaic Possibly Pointing to Where Jesus Fed the 5,000

JERUSALEM, Israel – Israeli Archaeologists have discovered an unusually well-preserved mosaic apparently depicting the miracle of Jesus feeding the 5,000 on the floor of an early Christian Church overlooking the Sea of Galilee.

Researchers from the University of Haifa exposed the mosaic during excavations on the so-called “Burnt Church” at the Hippos-Sussita excavation site. Researchers believe the 6th century church was most likely burned down during the Sasanian conquest in the 7th century. The fire actually helped preserve the floor because when the roof burned down, it covered the mosaic floor in a layer of ash, thus protecting it from being damaged by the elements over time.

When archaeologists broke through the ash layer, they found a colorful mosaic depicting images of baskets with loaves and fish, a miracle that is believed to have occurred close to the Sea of Galilee.

“There can certainly be different explanations to the descriptions of loaves and fish in the mosaic, but you cannot ignore the similarity to the description in the New Testament: for example, from the fact that the New Testament has a description of five loaves in a basket or the two fish depicted in the apse, as we find in the mosaic”, said Dr. Michael Eisenberg, head of the excavation team in Hippos on behalf of the Institute of Archaeology at the University of Haifa, Israel.

This church was partially exposed about a decade ago, and now Dr. Eisenberg, his colleague Jessica Rentz, and their team have returned to expose the remains. The discovery of the mosaic featuring baskets full loaves and fish challenges the traditional belief that the New Testament miracle took place at what is now called the Church of the Multiplication in Tabgha, on the north-west side of the Sea of Galilee.

Some experts theorize that it occurred closer to the Hippos-Sussita excavation site.

“Nowadays, we tend to regard the Church of the Multiplication in Tabgha on the north-west of the Sea of Galilee as the location of the miracle, but with careful reading of the New Testament it is evident that it might have taken place north of Hippos within the city’s region,” explained Eisenberg.  “According to the scripture, after the miracle Jesus crossed the water to the north-west of the Sea of Galilee, to the area of Tabgha/Ginosar, so that the miracle had to take place at the place where he began the crossing rather than at the place he finished it. In addition, the mosaic at the Church of Multiplication has a depiction of two fish and a basket with only four loaves , while in all places in the New Testament which tell of the miracle, there are five loaves of bread, as found in the mosaic in Hippos. In addition, the mosaic at the burnt church has a depiction of 12 baskets, and the New Testament also describes the disciples who, at the end of the miracle, were left with 12 baskets of bread and fish.”

However, Eisenberg isn’t convinced that the miracle happened near the Burnt Church in Hippos. He points out key differences between the newly discovered mosaic and the New Testament account.

For example, some baskets in the mosaic are full of fruit and not just bread. Other places depict three fish together instead of only two.

“The church is located right at the western edge of Mount Sussita and is the most western point in the city and overlooks – today as it did then – the Sea of Galilee and Jesus ministry and where most of his miracles occurred. There is no doubt that the local community was well familiar with the two miracles of Feeding the Multitude and perhaps knew their estimated locations better than us. The assumption that the artisan or the persons who ordered the work wanted to create an affinity to a miracle which took place nearby must be logical. We will finish the excavation and cleaning of the remaining twenty percent of the mosaic and will carefully examine this assumption. The fish themselves have a number of additional symbolical meaning in the Christian world, and their interpretation requires caution”, he summarized.

During the preservation process, headed by the Israel Antiquities Authority, two inscriptions in Greek were also exposed in the mosaic.

The first inscription talks about the two fathers of the church, Theodoros and Petros creating a sanctuary in honor of a Christian martyr. The second inscription reveals the name of the martyr to be a man named Theodoros. Not much else is known about the martyr.

Researchers also discovered the burnt remains of the church’s doors, a pair of door knockers in bronze casting in the form of roaring lions.

Bible Proven ‘Trustworthy’ Again after This Archaeological Discovery

Archaeological discoveries like this are important victories because although Christians believe Biblical accounts of history, non-Christians strive to disprove the Bible.

Mount Zions Site

(Israel) — [CBN News] Academics are saying the Bible is trustworthy after discovering evidence of the 6th century Babylonian siege of Jerusalem as it is described in 2 Kings, Chapter 25(Image: via CBN News)

Archaeologists from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, excavating on Mount Zion in Jerusalem, say they have found physical evidence of the Babylonian attack, including burnt material, arrowheads, carbonized wood, bronze, iron, jewelry, and broken pottery.

Dr. Shimon Gibson, co-director of the university’s Mount Zion archaeological project, told CBN News the discoveries were “unexpected.”

The Bible describes King Nebuchadnezzar’s forces burning “every great house” down, including the house of the Lord—Solomon’s Temple. The soldiers also took bronze pillars and vessels from the Temple and carried them back to Babylon while the children of Israel were thrown into exile.

“What we’re finding are the results of that destruction,” Gibson said, adding that Nebuchadnezzar was known as the “Destroyer of Nations” at the time.

The researchers also found a particularly rare piece of jewelry with unclear origins.

“It might have been an earring. It might have been a tassel, some kind of ornament. It’s unclear at this point in time. It consists of a golden bell out of which extends this bunch of grapes made out of silver,” Gibson said.

“There have been over the past several decades a lot of discussion as to the veracity of the Biblical account. Some would like to see it more as mythically based, maybe having a basis in history, but still largely a document that is not really to be relied upon,” he explained.

“Our excavations prove that to not be the case.”

Gibson said the archaeologists will return to Jerusalem next summer to excavate the site in its entirety.

Awomberew Mission Report

Date: 03th – 05th May 2019

We arrive safety at Awomberew village for our evangelism outreach activities. We began with prayers for the community same day and at evening we were at the Church Service for worship with the local Church.  Rev. Ed Acton mounted the pulpit with teachings that brought our mind and spirit to the light. The Scriptural Text was from the book of Genesis and the gospel of John. The Topic was Light of God.  In the book of Genesis 1:1-4 & 14 and 1 John 1:1-14 there were two different lights. What are these Lights? “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. Again in Genesis 1:14 “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years”: Rev. Ed Arcton taught about the spiritual light in genesis 1:3 and the natural light we see in the sky in Genesis 1:14. We were enlightened after the teaching Service. Rev. Ed Acton further explains the spiritual light from the book of John 1. This was an uncovering of the truth as to know Jesus Christ, the Son of God to be the light of the world. He was the One the apostles gave an account and testified that he is the Light of the world.  They saw and bone witness to the Light that all may believe. John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of “GRACE and TRUTH”. Click here to view the sermon.

Pastor Obed leading Prayer time at Church

Early hours the following day morning we were in the Church for morning devotion with members of the local Church. Pastor Obed led the morning devotion. He encourages the members of the local Church to cultivate the habit of prayer, He talked about the “Christian and Prayer”. The scriptural text was from the gospel of Luke 11:1. “And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples”.

He said that, the disciples always saw Jesus healing the sick and doing many other miracles by Himself. They also walked together, ate together and did a lot of things together with the Messiah. More so the bible records that Jesus woke up early hours to pray and obviously they saw him when he was returning from his prayer time. Jesus life of Prayer should be an example for us all to pray without ceasing. Pastor Obed said a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian; He explained that the disciples of Jesus saw the power of prayer in the life of Jesus and desire to pray as he did. They said to him “teach us to pray”. He then led the Church into serous prayer time that morning. Everybody prayed earnestly and with great passion. It was a blessing and precious time in the presence of God for a renewal of strength. Click here to view the full message

At the evening Church Service Rev Ed Arcton talked about why the Church must pray before God intervene in the affairs of men and world. God will not go against His word. In Genesis1:26. God gave man the dominion over the earth. He also said it was very important for every individual to be prayerful. Matthew 26:40 [40] And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? When Jesus return to them he didn’t say to them, don’t worry, I will pray for you but asked the disciples to pray too themselves so that they will not fall into temptation. Pastor Isaac took over and led the Church into prayer session. The full sermon is here

Rev Arcton – Teaching Service at ABC

On Sunday morning at Church Service Pastor Obed Richards led the Church unto prayers before the Sunday school teachings by Rev Ed Arcton. He taught about the benefit of the Word of God. The Word of God is God according to Scriptures “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men”. (John 1:1-3) When we are full of the Word of God, the life of God fills our hearts and overflows. If we have the power of the word of God dwells richly inside us, we also have the power of God in us. The Word of God is Good news because it brings light and life to man. The Word of God must be supreme in our life as a Christian, and our life must reflect the life of Christ who is in us for other to see and believe. When the Word of God is grounded and rooted in us, springs of living water overflows out of us. The Word of God strengthens us to be an overcomer and to live a holy life. We were all challenge and inspire to study the Bible every day. Our passion and love for God should drive us to study the Bible and live it wherever we are. He also talk about the daily trails, temptation and testing we face everyday as christian who love God and want to obey Him with all our heart. Click here to view the full sermon.

Pastor Isaac Fiifi Takyi preached that day at Church. His topic was “The plan and purpose of God”. It was a blessing that Sunday morning as the church hearing the good news preached in their own mother tongue powerfully. Pastor Isaac said, the mind of someone reveals his plan and purpose, he said the mind of God reveals His purpose to mankind. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Deacon Isaac Preaching at Awombwrew Baptist Church

Our relationship with God is a unique, the moment we find out His plan and purpose for our life, things begins to change for the better for us. God thought for you and me is the thought of peace not evil, and to bring us to an expected end. Proverbs 19:21 says “[There are] many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand”. Its only God’s plan that will stand forever in our life, Again in Isaiah 14:24 puts it this way; The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand. Today’s sermon at Church touches the hearts of everyone. Everybody begin to understand and appreciate God’s love, how deep and wide is the Love of God toward all who believes. The book of Romans 8:28 concludes y saying “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Click here to view the full message.

LMC Mission Report

The Powerful Influence of Moms in Christians’ Households.

Research Releases in Family & Kids • May 7, 2019

Acknowledging the influence of moms isn’t just the stuff of Mother’s Day cards; it also became a major finding and theme in a recent Barna study of practicing Christians’ homes in the U.S. The Households of Faith report, produced in partnership with Lutheran Hour Ministries, finds that mothers—more often than fathers, or any other category of frequent participants in households—are seen as the confidants, providers of support and drivers of faith formation. We observe this dynamic in the responses of adults, who esteem and rely on their moms as sources of strength, companionship and wisdom. In turn, mothers still meet a range of needs and provide support for their grown children or, when applicable, grandchildren. But some of the clearest examples of the broad impact of mothers surface in the responses of Gen Z, who offer a portrait of mothers who are present, passionate and faithful.

Moms Are Primary Activity & Conversation Partners for Teens
For all the stereotypes of teens rolling their eyes at their parents, Gen Z are actually very open with and dependent on their mothers. Consider their descriptions of one-on-one time with other housemates. Today’s Christian teen consistently identifies their mother as the principal housemate for almost all activities. From eating meals together (85%) and watching TV or movies (81%), to talking about God (70%) and having confrontations (63%), mothers are the primary activity partner for their teens. They are second only to friendships even when it comes to using their phones for texting (69% mothers vs. 73% friendships) and calling (61% vs. 71%). The only time mothers are not leading the way is when it comes to activities like interacting on social media or playing sports, both dominated by friendships.

The Powerful Influence of Moms in Christians' Households

Teens Go to Moms for Tough Conversations & Personal Support
According to practicing Christian teens, mothers are the go-to person for all kinds of support: advice (78%), encouragement (75%) and sympathy (72%). Meanwhile, fathers play a somewhat key role in meeting teens’ tangible needs for money (74%) and logistical help (63%), though even on these two issues, they are somewhat on par with mothers.

The Powerful Influence of Moms in Christians' Households
Households of Faith

As mothers are seen as advisors and encouragers, teens report approaching them with tougher topics. In the impressionable middle and high school years, even conversations about sex (41%) aren’t off limits between teens and moms. (Understandably, when discussing sex, there is a bit of a difference depending on the teens’ gender, with 30 percent of boys and 48 percent of girls talking about this with their mother, and 50 percent of boys and 10 percent of girls covering this topic with their father). Christian teens also primarily seek out mothers’ opinions on questions of faith (72%) or the Bible (71%), as well as things that might be troubling them (78%). No wonder 68 percent of Gen Z in this survey say their mom was the one who was there for them in their last personal crisis.

The Powerful Influence of Moms in Christians' Households

Mothers Are the Main Spiritual Coaches for Teens
Practicing Christians in their teen years consistently identify mothers as the ones who provide spiritual guidance and instruction and instill the values and disciplines of their faith in the household. Moms are their foremost partners in prayer (63%) and conversations about God (70%), the Bible (71%) or other faith questions (72%). This is consistent with Barna data through the years that show mothers to be the managers of faith formation (among other household routines and structures). Mothers are also the ones encouraging church attendance (79%) or teaching kids about the Bible (66%), God’s forgiveness (66%) and religious traditions (72%).

The Powerful Influence of Moms in Christians' Households

What the Research Means
“Over and over, this study speaks to the enduring impact of mothers—in conversation, companionship, discipline and, importantly, spiritual development,” Alyce Youngblood, Barna’s managing editor for this report, says.

“Though mothers appear to rise to many demands of parenthood, that doesn’t mean it’s easy,” Youngblood adds. “For instance, another Barna study shows that employed Christian moms struggle not only to feel connected to their work, but also to feel a sense of ‘calling’ or to find satisfaction in most areas of life. Working Christian fathers, meanwhile, thrive in all of these areas. Considering that this report shows moms carry a large share of the logistical, emotional and spiritual weight at home, this contrast in parents’ fulfillment is something the Church might need to help households address, especially as moms increasingly remain in the workplace and become breadwinners.

“Churches should ask pointed questions about how they’ve set up their ministries and how they can best support moms as they help support their families,” Youngblood suggests. “Outside of women’s ministries or a certain Sunday in May, how often do sermons speak to the experiences of moms—whether single or married, working full-time or staying at home? Are programs for families and children based on realistic assumptions about the schedules of working parents? Sometimes the demands of church involvement (for themselves, or for their children) might contribute to moms’ busyness or stress—are moms also being encouraged to observe sabbath, prioritize rest and rely on community? Additionally, would participation in some areas of ministry feel like a help or hindrance for single parents who are already carrying a heavy load?

“These are just a few considerations that can help churches become even more valuable partners in the sacred work mothers are already doing at home.”

About the Research
This study began with in-depth qualitative interviews with highly active Christians of various household types: two nuclear families (white Millennial parents with young children), one multi-generational family (Asian American household with children and boarders), one single-parent family (African American family that is sometimes multi-generational) and a roommate household (white Millennial males). Key insights about what makes a vibrant household or how faith grows in a household setting were initially identified through this research.

The results from the qualitative interviews were used to shape the questionnaire for quantitative online surveys conducted from April 5–11, 2018. In total, 2,347 interviews were conducted, including 448 with teens between the ages of 13–17. In order to qualify, respondents had to identify as Christian, agree strongly that their faith is very important in their life today and report attending a church service at least once in the past month. The margin of error for the total sample is +/- 1.8 percentage points at the 95 percent confidence level.

Individuals living by themselves are excluded from this study. This sample is not designed to be representative of all household types in the U.S. As the goal of this study is to observe interactions among practicing Christians who live together and how faith is experienced and transmitted among them, households of a single person did not qualify for participation.

Practicing Christians are self-identified Christians who say their faith is very important in their lives and have attended a worship service within the past month.

Awomberew Missionary Trip.

Date: 29th March- 31st March

Pastor Obed Preaching on Friday at Awomberew Baptist Church

It was Friday afternoon we set off our journey from the City of Accra to the Awomberew Community in the Central Region of Ghana. Our missionary teams were together in this journey to the mission field.  We arrived safely by the grace of God at about 5:30pm GMT. We immediately enter into serious prayer warfare to prepare us for our stay and assignment over there. Our prayers focus on taking over the territory and breakthrough the grounds for effective evangelism and Church planting. At evening we were in the church hall for prayer time with some members of the local church. Rev Arcton preached that Friday night. His sermon was from Matthew 16:13-18, the topic was “who is Jesus Christ to you”. The Lord himself knew people’s perceptions and misinterpretation of his true identity, something that matter a lot to him as he walk and live among them everywhere and at anyplace he goes.  He therefore engaged his disciples on the subject of his true identity! More so wanted to know if his own disciples recognize his true identity or not. He asked this question, “Who do people say I am”? It was his plan to make himself known his true identity that he was and is the true promise Messiah, the Christ who is to come into the world to save all mankind from their sins and show them the way to his Father in heaven. The wrong perception and perversion of people, he wanted to correct in the hearts and mind of those who followed him and believe him as the Promise Messiah (Christ, the Anointed One) the Old Testament Prophets preaches. Rev Arcton emphasized that knowing and believing the truth will set everyone free forever. Accepting the Lord as the Christ (Messiah) is vital in the journey of the believer to eternity because it is the foundation on which all TRUTH stands. Anyone can be saved and become new creature, set free from the dominion of sin, death and Satanic deceptions because of Jesus, the savoir of the world. The true revelation of His identity as the Christ will guide the believer’s life and pathway. This revelation of Jesus Christ true deity and identity comes only through the work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts given to us freely by God. Knowing Him as our personal Lord and savior saves us from darkness into his marvelous light. We become new creation of God, no more under the bondage of sin and death. But save eternally to be called children of God, born again by the Spirit of God.  Click here to view the full message.

After the Teaching we entered into serious prayer time with the whole church, it was led by Deacon Fiifi Kakraba. The Church service came to a close with a prayer by Pastor Obed. We take a break for the night as we rest the morrow.

Saturday morning was the 2nd day of our mission. As usual we began the day with intensive prayer in the morning; it was led by Rev Ed Arcton, the Scriptural passage was taken from the book of Isaiah 10:27. He emphasis the need to have and to be filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit to do the work of God. We prayed intensively for the infilling of the Holy Spirit to be mightily use by God particularly for the task ahead of us. By mid-morning we move to the church premises for another intercessory prayer for the local church and the evangelization of the whole community and its surroundings. This lasted between the hours of10:30am to 1:00pm and was led by Deacon Fiifi Kakraba.

In the later afternoon we were on our knees again in prayers till 6:40pm. Evening service began with an opening prayer. Pastor Obed delivered sermon.  The topic was “Maintaining your deliverance”. He stated that the intention of God is to totally deliver man from the powers of darkness. The scriptural text was from Luke 13:10-15, where a certain woman was in bondage for eighteen years yet still believe in Christ but had not received total deliverance as a child of God. He said that so many Christian today are still in the churches that are spiritually trapped into satanic domination, control and oppression. This he said wasn’t the plan of God for his children. He further explained that Christians can receive deeper revelation from God as seen in Matthew 16:17-18.  At the same time like Apostle Peter received revelation from the Lord but later was rebuke by the Lord because was Satan hiding behind him to oppose Christ purpose in going to the cross as stated Matt 16: 21-23. He said that as believers in Christ we ought to be diligently to maintain our spiritual alertness, sensitivity and deliverance through consistence fellowship with God, daily walk with Jesus Christ, personal Bible study and prayer lifestyle. We have being delivered from the kingdom of darkness and have been translated into the Kingdom of God; we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling and holding firm our unshakable victory that our Lord Jesus Christ has freely given to us through his bloodshed on the cross. Pastor Obed ended his message by praying for revival and the total deliverance of everyone from satanic domination and oppression. Click here to view the full message. The service came to a close with a prayer by Rev Ed Arcton. Before retiring to bed our missionary team continued earnestly in prayers for the missionary work and the local church in the community.

Rev Arcton Teaching at Awomberew Baptist Church

On the 3rd day, Sunday, was worship service; early hours in the morning we engaged ourselves into spiritual warfare, also to prepare ourselves for worship service. Church Service begins at about 8:30 am with a prayer time led by Pastor Obed. Sunday school Teaching was led by Rev Arcton. The topic for was “Living the Great Commandment as we fulfilled the Great Commission” with emphasis on living as true disciple for Christ Jesus and making disciples for Christ. The Scriptural message was from Matthew 28:18-20 He explains the authority of Jesus Christ which He received through the Cross and thereby commanding the church to go and make disciples of Him, Jesus Christ. He stressed on Jesus Christ triumphing over the power of sin and death. The Lord Jesus Christ purpose was to build his Church and spread the Gospel in all Nations of the earth by means of making disciples through his own people who believe in Him. He has received power and authority from his Father in heaven and now delegating that same power and authority to all who believe in Him to go and do as he did. He explained that one can only become a disciple of Jesus Christ by faith and receiving Christ righteousness as a gift freely given. He ended with a word of prayer and asks everyone to dedicate their life to Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Click here to view the full Teaching.

Deacon Fiifi Kakraba Preaching Sunday Sermon at Awomberew Baptist Church

Sunday sermon was delivered by Deacon Fiifi Kakraba. He preached on “The fight of faith”. The Scripture text was from Hebrews 4:2, Deacon Fiifi Kakraba explained and expanded the scripture text and highlighted the effect of unbelief and disobedience which makes the Good news preached powerless and unproductive in the life of a Christian. As children of God, we ought to manifest the glory of God through Jesus Christ who conquered sins with his great Love on the cross. He further said that we as children of God should fight the good fight for our faith in Christ Jesus; the devil comes only to steal, killed and destroys what is not his. His assignment is to destroy our faith and stop us from laying hold of the promise God as its written the Holy Scriptures. He concluded by calling people to total repentance and reject unbelief, disobedient and stubborn of hearts. We have to accept and believe that the Good news is the power of God to save sinful mankind from the dominion of sin and death. Click here to view the full sermon.

Church service came to a close after Rev Ed Arcton pronouncing the benediction and sharing of the Grace of God.

Sports Evangelism – Kumasi City.

Sports evangelism is now finding it breakthrough into our local Churches here in Ghana. Rescue Sports Foundation seeks to pinion and champion this course and be a ring leader in this effort with the strength of the Holy Spirit. To achieve this goal RSF hosted Jimmy Larche, founder of Breakaway Sports USA in Ghana for sports outreach. Jimmy arrives at the Ghana Airport on Friday afternoon 22nd February 2019. He was welcome by the Director of RSF and Board Chairman. Straight away we set off from the City of Accra heading to Kumasi City for the sports evangelism outreach and arrives same today.

It was 5 to 6 hours drive. Going out of the city was a slow motion and entering into another city did the same owning to traffic congestion. However, we made it by the Grace of God, even though stressful and a long journey on the highway. The travelling mercy of God was with us and the peace of God gloom our hearts as we landed in the city of Kumasi. It was night at our arrival and we find rest for the night waiting to see the brightness of the day with its glamour and glorious sunlight at Kumasi city.

Before mid mornings we were on the field with different groups of disabilities sports teams waiting for our arrival and massage.

Amputee Football Team, Jimmy Larche and some RSF Officials

Jimmy Larche from Breakaway begins by sharing the Love of God reveal in his Son Jesus Christ to our audience. Goodnews is what God gave us in his begotten Son Jesus Christ. Heaven is our eternal home. This life on earth is temporal not permanent. Our physical conditions are not forever, and our disabilities will change in the present of our God.  In heaven we will be different and be made like Him. This was Jimmy Larche speaking.

Rev Arcton added and said, no matter how we look like in the eye of people and no matter how people view us to be, the truth is this, God made us all in his own image and likeness. The Psalmist says we are fearfully and wonderful made by our God. Hear the words of King David saying …“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well”. (Psalms 139:14)

Therefore, self acceptance and appreciation to God for who am I and who we are is a victory over challengers. Thanking God for giving us life and having Jesus in my life is the greatest joy and achievement. He said further that in life, we are not equal in positions, we are not equal in functions however, we must understand that we are all equal in IMPORANTCY. God made it so. Be grateful and give God thanks everyday when the darkness of night blows away by the wings of the wind and thereby we can see the brightness of the dawn and gazing on beauty of the sunlight. If you’re able to wake up and breathe in fresh air all day long, be thankful. This is not by chance as other may think, it’s absolutely Gift of God. Let’s us rejoice and be thankful unto our maker, Our Lord and our God.

Coach Ben Annor, the Director of Rescue Sports Foundation was our host, the Lord is with him. His calling and Ministry is to preach Christ Jesus and make HIM known through the vehicle of Sports Outreach. More importantly to reach out to the disabilities people group in our society neglected, ignored by many and look down upon as people rejected from families and homes. He believes the power of the Gospel, and sharing the Love of God in Jesus Christ is sufficient and have the power to bring regeneration and transforms human life from nobody to somebody.

Sports world is our Mission field, unreached and non-evangelized with the Gospel. Our aim is to reach out to evangelize and make disciple for Christ through sharing the Love of God and living the power of the Gospel in sports fields around the globe. The sports world needs people of God to witness the power of the Gospel and live the Love of God among them today.

We met with different disability sports teams. Such as —

  1. Amputee Soccer Team
  2. Deaf and Mute Rugby and Handball Teams
  3. The Blind Team
  4. Wheel Chair Team
  5. Church Juvenile Teams
  6. All Coaches
  7. And Others

The message of the Gospel was delivered in love to each of the sports disciplines.

At CPC Sports field Jimmy Larche begin his Baseball Sports training with the youth. It was awesome! The Juvenile teams were there to display their soccer skills. The message of the cross was presented to them. The Pastor of CPC was there in person and gave us his full support and blessings. He also refreshes us after the program. We are indeed grateful.

Awomberew Mission Report: 15th – 17th February 2019

We arrived at the mission ground and immediately enter into serous time of intercessory prayer for the local church and the community evangelization. From here we were at the church hall for another evening prayer service with the locals to begin our missionary work in the village.
Deacon Isaac preached that night, his topic was “The Lord has need of everyone”. The Bible passage was from the Gospel of John Chapter 4, where Our Lord Jesus had to pass through the city of Samaria to preach the gospel to people whom the Jews considered unworthy to God. He further explained that the Lord has need of everyone to hear the message of the kingdom so that they will be liberated from the powers of sin and death, fear and bondage of darkness. He concluded by saying that the gospel was for all and that God loves the people of Samaria, he wants them to hear the goodnews of salvation. That Jesus himself speaking to them is the Life and the truth, he is the savoir of all mankind and whoever believes in HIM have eternal life. After the sermon, the man of God Rev Arcton led the whole church into powerful prayer time; it was followed by deliverance and healing of many under satanic oppression and bondage. The Lord was with us and working through us confirming his WORD with signs and wonders. We give Glory unto the Lord our God.
Saturday morning was a precious and blessed time spends in the presence of God during the Church morning devotion time. Pastor Obed ministered to the congregation. He spoke on a message about the Holy Spirit and why believers need the Holy Spirit. He explained how the Holy Spirit was involved from creation and how the Holy Spirit came upon God’s chosen servants both in the days of the Old Testament to the New Testament era. In the book of Luke Gospel chapter 3 and 4 tell us how the Holy Spirit descended and filled JESUS CHRIST himself, who came from the Father in heaven, and led Him throughout his life on earth. Likewise we found the Holy Spirit working in and through other Men and Women God choose to use both in the Old and New Testament era. Such as Sampson, Gideon, David, John the Baptist etc. Pastor Obed emphases how the Holy Spirit impacted JESUS’s personal life and empowers him in ministry to fulfill God purpose on earth. He emphases that, we need the work of the Holy Spirit in our life every moment as we walk and live here on this earth. Without the Holy Spirit we are nobody and cannot carry out God’s agenda and fulfill God plan for our life no matter the situation we find ourselves. Our total surrender and obedient of the leadership of the Spirit of God in a necessity for our daily fellowship and walk with the Lord. In conclusion Pastor Obed led us in prayer for the infilling and empowerment of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Pastor Obed Leading Sunday School Service at Awomberew Baptist Church

Later in the day, we embarked on house to house visitations and personal evangelism. The Annual festival of the community attracts many, guests, visitors and other people to the community from different part of the country. There were a lot of activities ongoing; one is the football games between various groups within the community. However after our outreach we committed ourselves into prayers for the people living in the village and surrounding communities.
In the evening, we had a prayer session with the people at the church hall; this was led by Deacon Isaac. He gave word of exaltation and led an intercessory prayer for the church, the community and the nation as well as individuals. He said, Jesus builds his church on a strong foundation which was He himself and nothing could ever be able to destroy it. Rev Ed Arcton, expounded the power of prayer and blessed the people in the name of the Lord.  It was day of refreshment from the Lord. We were back to our quarters and continued in prayers into late in the night.

The following day comes with its untold story. It was Sunday morning the Lord’s Day, Church service started earlier and here are we again in the present of the Lord, to worship and give thanks to the Lord. Pastor Obed led the church in Sunday bible Lesson, he taught about the ‘Early Church’ and spoke concerning how the church began, how the church maintained its salvation message, how they continued to walk and live in the spirit of loving each other as Jesus has loved then and taught them to do. God brought numerical growth and increased because they followed the Masters footsteps in love. The scripture says, “And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with [them], and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. (Mark 16:20) Again in Acts scripture says…and the Lord added to the church such as ware being saved daily”. It was such a blessing to hear GOD’s word from his servant.
Pastor Obed then led the church into worship and prayer session.

Deacon Isaac Preaching at Church Service at Awomberew baptist Church

Deacon Isaac deliver the Sunday’s message entitle “The Good News”. He explained the message of the kingdom of God as the Good news to mankind. The love of God manifested through his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who gave his life to die and saved mankind. And that whoever believes in him would not die but have eternal life. He said the good news of the kingdom is to bring sinners to God and not to drive them away as some people do by scattering the flocks of God with contaminated and diluted messages which is unscriptural and isn’t from God. He said the message of the Kingdom is simple, but powerful that God loves mankind even though we all died in sins and trespasses, Jesus came and took the punishment of our sins upon himself and die in our place for us. He said further that “for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10) And because it was Goodnews for mankind scriptural says “Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus.” Luke 15:1 NIV. He concluded that if the preaching we hear drives us away and makes you hide yourself from God’s presence and does not instead drives us into our knees to confess our sinful ways that preaching isn’t the biblical gospel found in the Bible. This is the WILL of God, that all should come to the knowledge of the truth and repent and be saved eternally. The intentions of God are to save us, not to destroy the sinner. Deacon Isaac then led the Church to prayer after the sermon. Rev Ed Arcton encourage the church with a message on love, saying if Christ so loved us then we ought to love one another. Closing prayer was said by Rev Arcton, followed by benediction.

Annual Festival.

Rev Arcton Preaching at Awomberew Village Community Annual festival

The whole community gathered together at their community ground for their Annual Festival, to give thanks to God and to raise funds for community development. We were invited as Guests. Rev Arcton was the main Guest Speaker. He preaches on message of Love God and Love your Neighbor as the Bible commands and demands from everyone.

God want us to live and walk in “LOVE” because he is the God of Love, which is the greatest virtue the Holy Scripture made us understands. He explained further that as a community of families, love is necessary for family reunion and social development. Love binds us together and without love society crashes into pierces, this produces all kinds of social evils devices that destroys and delays community transformation, development and family unity. He said God wanted to heal and restores us unto himself as his own people he loves and care for. In the same way God want us to live in a better world, free of suffering and evil which are the courses of human wickedness. God show his perfect love towards man by giving us his own begotten Son, Jesus Christ who gave his life and died for sinful mankind. Accepting and inviting the Lord Jesus Christ into our life and home begins our total reconciliation, restoration and transformation of both our life and society into God’s plan of heaven on earth. Jesus asks us to pray this way, “And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. (Luke 11:2) Click here to view the sermon.

In conclusion, Rev Arcton further said that God gave to all of us two most important commandments to obey, which is “Love the Lord your God with all your hearts and Love your neighbor as yourself”. This two golden commandment hang on us to obey and do them. If we claim we are children of God, redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. Let’s walk and live in the Love of the Father all the time. John the Apostle said “Beloved let us love one another for God is Love and whosoever loves is born of God overcomes the world”. Love is the greatest virtue, it’s possible to Love and be beloved.
